Cold Case
Uma detetive inteligente e determinada da equipe de homicídios da polícia da Filadélfia trabalha com os casos arquivados — crimes que nunca foram resolvidos.
A detetive Lilly Rush (Kathryn Morris, “Minority Report”) reabre casos esquecidos de homicídios que ocorreram há alguns anos ou até mesmo há algumas décadas. Antes, Rush usava seus instintos para compreender a mente dos criminosos em casos de assassinatos atuais. Agora, esta detetive experiente é intrigada por novos desafios, como interrogar as testemunhas desses casos antigos cujas vidas e circunstâncias mudaram desde então, usando as tecnologias da ciência atual e encontrando pistas novas para os casos que antes a polícia acreditava ser impossível solucionar. Além disso, ela está preparada para certas conseqüências, já que seu trabalho abrirá velhas feridas e talvez leve os suspeitos a cometerem novos crimes.
Sempre que Rush está num beco sem saída, ela pede a ajuda de seu mentor, o tenente John Stillman (John Finn, “Prenda-me Se For Capaz”, “Dawson’s Creek”), e do detetive Will Jeffries (Thom Barry, “Velozes e Furiosos”, “The West Wing”), que está na polícia há tempo suficiente para ser a ligação dela com o passado. Na equipe também estão o detetive Nick Vera (Jeremy Ratchford, “Olhar de Anjo”), um policial durão que é capaz de fazer de tudo para conseguir uma confissão; o detetive Scotty Valens (Danny Pino, “The Shield”), o parceiro e confidente de Rush; e a detetive Kat Miller (Tracie Thoms, “Wonderfalls”, “À Prova de Morte”), uma jovem investigadora da narcóticos que se une à equipe após ajudar a solucionar um caso de 1973 e que está ansiosa para provar o seu valor.
